Canadian Navy Delegation Visit

The aim of the visit is to show the overall CIMAR's capacities and, particularly, the Antarctic Water Operation Course.

On December 1st, the Maritime Instruction and Training Center, CIMAR, was visited by a Canadian Navy Delegation made up of officers Captain Martin Teft, RCN Director of Personnel, CMR Derek Moss, officer in charge of the Naval Academy for Officer Training Aventure, LT CDR Karine L’Archeveque, and Chief Petty Officer 1 Class Ross Mierau, who were welcomed by CIMAR's Director, Lieutenant Commander LT Cristian Martis Aravena, who showed them CIMAR's capacities, followed by Captain Santiago Murphy Rojas' presentation on the Development of the Antarctic Water Operations International Course. The visit ended with a demonstration in the Full Mission Navigation Simulator by Rear Admiral Jorge Chubretovich Soffia.
